Ages 14 to 18
Inspire drama and improv club
Inspire is a drama and improv club for 14 to 18 year olds. Games, scenes and characters, two hours a week, and no experience needed.
Improv is the part that makes it different from a drama club. Rather than learning lines for a play, you learn how to build a character and stay in it while everything around you changes. It is the skill that makes acting convincing.
Nobody is made to perform in front of the group on their first night.
Joining
There are six places in the first group, and entry is by audition. The audition is about twenty minutes at 2 Kings Road with a parent or carer along, and it is free. It is an improv audition, so there is no script and nothing to prepare. Bookings close on Sunday 11 October.
